Identity Theft is at an alarming high rate this year according to the IRS. How can we safeguard our identity and keep the thieves from stealing our tax returns? My personal tax returns were stolen in 2014. I had Life Lock at the time and they still managed to file my taxes without my permission. It took 6 months for the IRS to settle my claim and refund my money due to my health hardship.
